French Victorian/Edwardian Baccarat pieces - available as a set or individually

This elegant collection of amberina crystal glass bottles and trays was crafted by Baccarat in the late 19th century and the first decade of the 20th century.

Comprising 5 pieces, the set is adorned with wavelike ridges spiralling around the bodies of each piece. Two pieces are topped by English sterling silver lids. The two silver lids were produced in Birmingham - the shorter of the two in 1901/2 and the taller in 1910/11. I am assuming the two silver lids were commissioned by the original owner at the time of purchase as they fit perfectly. Two pieces have lids of the same stunning glass as the body of the vessels. The tray in the collection is in the same design and is of a useful size.

The use of amberina glass gives the gradient appearance where clear glass transitions into a vibrant cranberry hue. Four of the pieces are marked Baccarat but the tallest stoppered bottle doesn't carry the Baccarat mark, it is clearly Baccarat and is likely to be earlier than the other pieces, it has incised numbers on both the base and the base of the stopper. There is some minor wear consistent with age but nothing that detracts from this elegant set.

Crafted by the renowned French firm of glassmakers, this collection would look stunning together or pieces can be purchased individually if preferred.
