Sterling silver fob medal/pendant - Chester 1928/9

This sterling silver fob is an unusual shape and would make a fantastic pendant. It could easily be engraved with the initials of its next owner or a meaningful symbol. These medals were originally attached to fob watches but have become popular pendants. It features a raised frame around the outside and a shield is engraved on the interior. It is fully hallmarked for Chester 1928/9 but the maker's mark has rubbed and cannot be identified. The bail also features the lion passant indicating it is also sterling silver.
