Art nouveau sterling silver cocktail forks - Birmingham 1909/10

Add some art nouveau style to your next social event with these lovely cocktail forks. They were made by highly regarded firm Deakin & Francis, who are still producing luxury goods today. Assayed in Birmingham in 1909/10 at the height of the art nouveau movement, the forks are decorated with a tulip with sinuous foliage. I particularly like the proud presence of the hallmarks on the front of the fork before the elegant splayed tines. They come in their original fitted box. There are some knocks to the exterior of the box and some deterioration to the internal silk lining but the velvet is in perfect condition. The forks themselves are flawless and I suspect were only rarely used.
