Victorian cranberry and enamel glass dressing table bottle

A lovely Victorian (c. 1880) cranberry glass scent bottle with hand applied enamel sprays of flowers and leaves and trimmed with gold. A charming piece that is currently on sale. I initially thought it was in excellent condition, however I was clearly dazzled by the glass. On closer inspection I discovered that there has been a break to the neck of the stopper at some point in its long life that has been well repaired and a tiny fleabite inside the bottle rim. There is some age related wear to the gilding and enamel but it still displays beautifully. The enamel flower design is exquisite. The height including the stopper is just under 12cm, so a good size for a range of liquids or just to admire as a stunning survivor from a time when handmade was the norm.
