Horseshoe good luck stick pin - Chester 1880s

Horseshoes have long been associated with luck and the Victorians loved symbolism. Bring some luck into your life or give it to someone special. This simple stick pin is the perfect addition to your lapel, or could be used as a tie pin. It is well hallmarked for Chester but the date letter isn't clear but it likely dates from the 1880s. It was made by jeweller Frederick Banks. It is in very good condition, the pin is not entirely straight but it isn't noticeable when worn.
