Substantial antique sterling silver figaro link fob chain with T-bar and cameo

Antique fob chains have long been prized as necklaces, often they are a little on the short side given their original use to hold pocket watches in waistcoats. This one is a notable exception. The main figaro link chain is 47 centimetres and the combined t-bar and cameo attachment is almost 6 centimetres long. It weighs a substantial 46.83 grams. 

The individual links are stamped with the lion passant and everything but the cameo is very well hallmarked. There are no markings on the cameo. There has been a repair to the cameo at some stage and there is a little damage to its frame but it is secure and not at risk of further damage. The antique cameo is a simple and elegant piece. From  the back it looks as though the cameo may have originally been a brooch and has been converted for regular wear on the fob chain - so it was obviously very meaningful to the original owner. The dog clip spring isn't functioning properly but it remains entirely secure when fastened.
