Weathered English brass pot with lion ring handles
$85.00
This planter is well-weathered. It has clearly been outside for some time but remains structurally sound. It has lots of character and is a great size. Perfect for people who like their brass to have patina.
It was made in England and it's difficult to date as pots like this have been made over an extremely long period and the wear isn't a reliable indicator as it has been outside. It is sturdy and I'd say late twentieth century (c.1980-2000). I really like the detail of the handles held in the lion's mouth.
Please ignore any shadows in the photos, I'm still working on my technique for photographing shiny objects, but look closely at the photographs as they form part of the description. If you have any questions, please ask.
