Set of 3 silver-lidded vanity pieces

Walker & Hall

$239.00

These three silver-lidded vanity containers are in excellent condition. They were made by celebrated firm Walker and Hall in London in 1913, but only one of the three maker hallmarks is well struck. They all have the same floral decoration, a family crest that appears to be in Welsh and are monogrammed C. W. The two larger lids retain the original gilding.

These pieces are both elegant and functional. There are so many creative ways to use them. Personally, I store cotton buds in one I've had for years. There are a few minor knocks to the silver lids consistent with age and use but nothing significant. There are no chips, cracks or other damage to the glass. The tall bottle opening is off centre but the issue dates back to when it was produced.

Please look closely at the photographs as they form part of the description and ask if you have any questions.
